However, it is important to recognise that adversity can also be an opportunity for growth and development. In fact, the human body and mind are designed to grow stronger through challenges, such as fasting and exercise. This is also true for learner drivers<\/a>, who can grow and develop their skills through facing challenges on the road.<\/p>\n

In this article, we will explore five ways a learner driver can grow through being challenged, and why it is important for a good driving instructor to recognise progress with the same focus as recognising faults. We will also delve into some of the psychological theories around adversity and growth.<\/p>\n
